Job summary

Select Medical's Augusta facility is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for a PRN/Per Diem schedule. The role is based in Augusta, GA with a shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

compensation is $20.00 per hour. This position supports critical illness recovery patients and requires completion of orientation and BLS within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities include patient bathing, hourly rounds, patient transport, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and equipment, while ensuring stock levels are adequate and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas and assist with transfer equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Keep unit stocked with supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the team.
• Support overall patient care and safety throughout shifts.
