Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our day shift team in Augusta, GA. This role emphasizes compassionate patient care and supporting patients through recovery.

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less methods and providing oral hygiene care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient well-being.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with equipment movement.
• Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and equipment.

Location: Augusta, GA

Schedule: Full-Time Days - 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Compensation: $17.23 to $21.00 per hour

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
