Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Augusta, GA. The role is full-time nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with competitive hourly compensation and extensive orientation.

You will support patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and participate in rounds while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Benefits include education support and a strong focus on employee growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or certifed nursing assistant or related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing using basin-less products and provide oral hygiene and feeding.
• Conduct hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving them in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bedpans, urinals, and equipment.
• Restock supplies and participate in routine tasks as assigned.

Compensation: $17.23 to $21.00 per hour

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
