Job summary

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited school is required.
New York State Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine is required.
ARRT NM or NMTCB Certification is required.
BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Verify patient identity and review physician orders for accuracy.
Explain procedures clearly and obtain consent when required.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging and non-imaging procedures per established protocols.
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and evaluate diagnostic images for quality.
