Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree.
• Associate (or Diploma) RNs with less than 5 years of RN experience must commit to completing a Bachelor of Nursing within 4 years.
• RN license at hire.
• ACLS & PALS Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care and collaborate with the care team to implement the patient care plan.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry into the patient record per guidelines.
• Follow safety standards and escalate issues to maintain a safe care environment.
• Maintain current knowledge of equipment, pharmacology and relevant lab values.
• Apply evidence-based practice within the specialty to guide care.
• Use performance improvement methods to enhance care quality and Magnet goals.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and meet required trainings.
• Communicate compassionately with patients’ families and the care team.
• Tailor care to population-specific needs for appropriate treatment.
