Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Night RN for the Observation Unit (.9 FTE) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Magnet-designated hospital. You’ll join a team focused on safety, kindness and excellent patient outcomes, working within a supportive, highly skilled environment.

The role requires an RN license at hire, 2+ years RN experience, and ACLS/PALS preferred. Shift is nights; full-time status (.75 or greater) with relocation and tuition repayment considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license at hire.
• ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a holistic approach and evidence-based nursing practices to guide the nursing process.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to execute an appropriate plan of care.
• Ensures complete, accurate, timely entry into the patient medical record.
• Adheres to safety standards, policies and practices and raises issues promptly.
• Maintains current skills for equipment, pharmacology and lab values relevant to the area.
• Follows evidence-based practice and nursing research within the specialty.
• Applies performance improvement principles to improve care quality and Magnet Model alignment.
• Takes responsibility for professional growth and required education.
• Demonstrates supportive, caring communication with families and team members.
• Considers patient population needs when determining care.
