Valley Health's Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for per diem night shifts. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide routine personal care, maintain a safe environment, and report any problems to the care team.

With experience, you may serve as a preceptor for new CNAs. Required include Virginia/West Virginia CNA registry and BLS certification; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a

• Registry as Certified Nurse Aide required by Virginia and/or West Virginia boards.
• BLS/CPR (AHA) certification required before orientation completion.
• New hires must obtain Valley Health flu vaccination.
• Good communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and promptly report problems.
• Support mission of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
• May precept new CNAs after experience.
