Valley Health System is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our Nursing Float team on a per diem basis. The CNA provides routine personal care under RN/LPN supervision, helps maintain a safe environment, and supports the mission of Winchester facilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, active CNA registration in VA or WV, BLS through AHA, and ability to interact with patients across ages. Willingness to participate in orientation as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand basic principles of human growth and development.
• Must be competent to interact with patients according to their age.
• Must have a reliable means of phone communication with hospital.
• Must obtain Valley Health provided annual flu vaccination if employed in Long-Term Care clinical areas.

Responsabilités

• The CNA, under supervision, performs routine personal care duties for patients.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems.
• Supports the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
• Once experienced, may act as a preceptor in orientation of new CNAs.
