Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to perform routine personal care duties for patients under supervision, maintaining a safe environment and reporting issues as they arise. After gaining experience, you may serve as a preceptor for new CNAs, supporting patient care across our Winchester facilities.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. CNA certification is required by the Virginia and/or West Virginia registry, with BLS certification also mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine personal care duties for patients under supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and report any problems.
• May act as a preceptor in orientation of new CNAs after gaining experience.

Education
