Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks a per diem MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies across sites. Under general supervision, you will prepare patients, position them, adjust imaging parameters, acquire images and perform QA.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, NH MRI license, BLS, and 1–2 years of MRI experience; you’ll rotate scanners, support safety, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses and staff.

Qualifications

• Medical Imaging certificate/diploma required or an Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging preferred.
• Licenses: ARRT MR or ARMRIT upon hire.
• NH Medical Imaging License required; NH MR license within 1 year if new to MRI; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory, inpatient, and ED patients, adjusting parameters to maintain diagnostic quality.
• Prepare patients and position for imaging; ensure safety and infection control.
• Record all contrast injections in the EMR and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Conduct QA procedures on MRI scanners and related equipment; report issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
