Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist for Newton-Wellesley Hospital on-site. Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing MRI studies, and ensuring safety and quality across procedures.

The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire, an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging, and 1–2 years of MRI experience. Per diem schedule, on-site location at 2014 Washington Street.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging is required.
• Experience in lieu of degree is not accepted.
• Licenses preferred: ARRT, ARRT-MR, BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission.
• Perform MRI scans and process images for ambulatory patients.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks on MRI equipment.
• Assist with scheduling, transport, inventory, and filing.
