Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a per diem MRI Technologist for the Dover, NH area. You will perform MRI studies, ensure patient safety, and participate in quality control while rotating across scanners as needed.

Required ARRT MR or ARMRIT and NH imaging licensure with NH MR within 1 year if new to MRI; 1–2 years experience preferred. Per diem shifts, occasional nights/holidays possible.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• NH Medical Imaging License required; NH MR license within 1 year if new to MRI.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient identification and adherence to safety protocols per Joint Commission.
• Execute MRI scans for various patients, adjusting parameters for diagnostic quality and MRI safety.
• Inserts IV catheters and administers MR contrast agents; records injections in EMR.
• Instructs patients on MRI safety and ensures protocol compliance in the MRI area.
• Performs quality control on MRI equipment and reports issues to supervisor.
• Supports department staff with scheduling, transport, and inventory tasks.
