Qualifications

• Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures with independent judgment.
• Work under supervision of Manager and Radiologist to perform MRI procedures.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and efficient examinations and submit for review.
• Lead exam procedures to improve efficiency and meet patient needs.
• Prepare records and enter data in the information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and perform quality control tests.
• Treat patients and colleagues with respect and meet their needs.
• Collaborate with others to achieve departmental goals.
