Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack, NY, is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to support the Radiology team at our Commack outpatient location. You will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring high diagnostic quality.

The role requires a NY license in Radiologic Technology, ARRT MRI registration, and an AMA-approved radiology program. Flexible shifts include 8am–6pm, Saturdays, and a per diem rate of $80/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AMA-approved radiology program or a 1-year MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT MRI registration (R) and MRI MR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures in an outpatient center with independence.
• Follow clinical guidance from Radiologist and manage exam accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure complete documentation and submit exams for physician review.
• Lead exam procedures to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and conduct quality control tests as assigned.
• Collaborate with team to meet departmental goals.
