In this per-diem role, you will work under supervision, ensure accurate exams, and contribute to efficient workflow while delivering exceptional imaging services.

Qualifications

• 2-year AMA approved Radiology program or 1-year MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R) and MRI certification (MR).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with independent judgment in an outpatient center.
• Under Manager and Radiologist guidance, apply technical ability independently.
• Ensure exams are accurate, complete and submitted for physician review.
• Lead exam procedures to improve efficiency and meet patient needs.
• Prepare records and enter data into the information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and perform quality control tests.
• Treat patients and colleagues with respect and professionalism.
• Collaborate with others to achieve departmental goals.
