Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack, NY seeks a Per-Diem MRI Technologist to support the Radiology team at our outpatient location. You will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring diagnostic quality.

This per diem role requires independence under supervision, strong patient care, and collaboration with radiologists and staff. Per diem shifts are flexed between 8am–6pm, with Saturdays required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from a radiology program or MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) and MRI certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures with independence and clinical judgment in an outpatient center.
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and Manager to ensure quality exams.
• Ensure complete, accurate exams and timely submission for physician review.
• Lead exam procedures to enhance efficiency and meet patient needs.
• Prepare records and data in the information management system.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform QC tests.
• Provide respectful, patient-centered care and collaborate with colleagues.
