Pediatrix & Obstetrix in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Per Diem Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team. The diagnostic sonographer provides ultrasound services in the high-risk setting, working independently and with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive prenatal care.

The role requires ARDMS OB/GYN or FE eligibility within 12 months, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex cases with empathy while maintaining accurate documentation and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited sonography program or equivalent training.
• Maintain ARDMS certification with OB/GYN or FE eligibility within 12 months.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets.
• Assist with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document findings, measurements, images and details in systems.
• Review studies with physicians and communicate findings clearly.
• Rotate to other locations as needed to cover absences.
