Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer for our Laguna Hills, CA clinic. The role provides diagnostic ultrasound in a high-risk obstetric setting, working independently and with perinatologists to prepare preliminary reports and assist with procedures.

Requirements include completion of an accredited sonography program, ARDMS certification (OB/Gyn or FE) or eligibility within 12 months, and at least six months of OB/GYN/MFM ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certified or eligible within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings and images accurately.
• Review completed studies with interpreting physicians.
