Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group invites a Per Diem Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our Boca Raton, FL clinics. You will perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, assist with procedures, and provide timely preliminary reports under the supervision of perinatologists.

The ideal candidate has an accredited sonography program credential, ARDMS OB/GYN or FE certification (or eligibility within 12 months), and at least 3 years in MFM ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain ARDMS certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE).
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins/triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings and images in reporting systems.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Rotate to other locations to cover sonographer absences.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and safety protocols.
