Job summary

ProMedica Flower Hospital Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician II (MLT II) for per diem shifts. You will process and interpret specimens, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

You may lead colleagues when the on-site supervisor is unavailable, ensuring smooth laboratory operations. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent MLS training, ABHES/CAHEA accredited program, and ASCP MLT eligibility with certification within one year.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology or transcripts showing 60 semester hours with 24 semester hours in MLS/biology/chemistry
• Clinical laboratory training program approved by ABHES/CAHEA or at least 3 months of full-time lab experience
• ASCP MLT eligible at time of hire with certification within one year of hire

• Process, evaluate, recognize, and interpret specimens.
• Provide guidance to co-workers when on-site supervisor is absent.
• Lead laboratory operations to support diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of medical conditions
