Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant is a key component of our care team and works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience to our patients.

Because of our model, Medical Assistants oversee the full spectrum of the patient experience—acting both as a Medical Receptionist and performing clinical responsibilities under Provider orders, including vitals,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MA experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from an MA program or related program.
• State/national MA certification or registration preferred; CPR/BLS required at start.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures and injections, and draw blood.
• Assist with labs, tests, and specimen collection as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications under Provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination.
