Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant collaborates with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provides an exceptional guest experience to our patients, acting as both a Medical Receptionist and assisting with clinical tasks.

Key duties include taking vitals, performing venipuncture, assisting with procedures, and coordinating front desk activities.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant
• Formal MA program completion
• MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients and prepare exam rooms; ensure clean, stocked facilities
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist with procedures
• Manage front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals
• Document data in medical records per guidelines
• Process test results and communicate to patients as directed
• Support outreach to patients to improve engagement
