Job summary

Concentra, Inc is seeking a Medical Assistant PRN to join our Illinois site in Morton Grove. You will perform routine medical tasks under clinician supervision and support front/back office duties to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have a medical assistant program credential or related patient care experience, good clinical skills, and strong customer service. The role requires flexibility in a fast-paced center and compliance with HIPAA and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred, OR at least one year of direct patient care experience
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
• Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Prepare patients for examinations and take vital signs
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.)
• Assist providers during examinations and treatment
• Triage emergent patients and assist with procedures
• Maintain supplies and clean/stock exam rooms
