Job summary

Concentra seeks a Bilingual Medical Assistant PRN to support patient care in an Illinois clinic. The role includes preparing patients for exams, performing tests, and assisting clinicians in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities cover both clinical and front-office tasks, ensuring accurate records, patient communication, andHIPAA-compliant handling of information. Per diem hours vary by center need.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, OR at least 1 year of direct patient care as a medical assistant, OR military medical specialist experience.
• Credentials must meet state requirements where employed.
• Experience with occupational medicine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for examinations including vital signs and required testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Triage and assist with emergent patient needs and procedures.
• Handle front and back office duties: check-in/out, authorizations, records.
