Job summary

Concentra in Erlanger, KY seeks a Medical Assistant PRN to join our patient care team. You will perform routine medical tasks under supervision and support front and back office operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes DOT/Non-DOT drug testing, vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting clinicians; strong HIPAA compliance and customer service are required. This per diem position offers competitive hourly pay in the state range and opportunities for growth and center

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or 1+ year patient care experience.
• Direct patient care experience and knowledge of medical procedures/terminology.
• State credentials compliant with employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Handle routine medical procedures and triage emergencies as needed.
• Front/back office duties and proper record keeping.
• Ensure accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
