Job summary

Kaweah Health is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant for Exeter, California. The role supports physicians and staff in a busy clinic setting, performing patient care activities and administrative tasks with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort.

Under supervision, you will prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, collect specimens, and document information in the medical record. Bilingual Spanish may be preferred depending on clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Heartsaver AED certification required/considered
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred depending on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and stock supplies.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with procedures as directed.
• Record vital signs and enter data into the medical record system.
• Assist providers with treatments and venipuncture per protocol.
• Maintain specimens, labels, and Lab results; ensure proper storage.
