Job summary

Kaweah Health Exeter Health Clinic in Exeter, California is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver quality patient care in a busy office setting. Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or proof of training under a licensed physician.
• Heartsaver AED certification is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, depending on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam rooms for patient visits.
• Stocks and orders supplies as needed.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and records vital signs.
• Assists care givers with procedures and treatments as directed and allowed by scope of care practices.
• May perform venipuncture and label/record specimens as required.
• Enters information into the medical record and coordinates test results.
• Maintains lab and equipment as directed and ensures proper documentation.
