Qualifications

• Connecticut license with ARRT Mammography certification is required.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered care.
• Proficiency in anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician orders and radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Verify patient identification and route studies to PACS.
• Maintain daily patient log and ensure accurate documentation.
• Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Educate patients about procedures and obtain clinical information for correlation.
• Cross-train to support other modalities as needed.
