Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Florida General Radiographer license.

• ARRT registered and certified in primary modality or must obtain within one year of hire.
• One year of relevant experience preferred, new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and examine orders for Mammography scans and verify procedures.
• Ensure orders are appropriate and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Identify patient service requirements and establish rapport with patients.
• Verify patient identity using EMR and wristband.
• Obtain necessary consents and education prior to procedures.
• Operate Mammography scanners under radiologist supervision to ensure quality and safety.
