Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires proficiency with CT technology, contrast administration, and strict adherence to radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating CT equipment, acquiring images, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic data in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic imaging program approved by ARRT/NMTCB or NMTCB accepted.
• Current ARRT or NMTCB registry within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients to optimize imaging and minimize exposure.
• Operate CT scanners and administer contrast as prescribed.
• Capture and evaluate high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for accurate diagnosis.
