Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Mammographer to support our client facilities. Under direct supervision, you will perform specialized breast examinations to aid in diagnosis and treatment for women patients. This role may involve screening or diagnostic exams.

You will greet patients, take orders from physicians, perform imaging studies, and assist in training staff while maintaining accurate records and paperwork for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiology required.
• MA State License required.
• ARRT registration preferred; Mammography ARRT certification preferred.
• 1–2 years mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for procedures.
• Take verbal orders from physician.
• Perform mammography examinations (screening or diagnostic).
• Print films or burn CDs and match paperwork for interpretation.
• Assist in quality improvement programs in the department.
• Assist in training new personnel and supervise students.
• Instruct radiology students in positioning, technique, and critique.
• Document mammography services in patient records.
