Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham is seeking a per diem Mammography Technologist to perform a wide range of mammography and breast imaging procedures. The role requires adherence to department protocols, accurate exam documentation, and high-quality image acquisition.

The ideal candidate has RAML-Mammography or ARRT Mammography, ARRT Radiography, and BLS certification, with 0–1 years of related experience; PACS familiarity a plus. Per diem, rotating shifts, at BID Needham.

Qualifications

• Requires vocational/technical training; Associate's degree preferred.
• RAML-Mammography license or ARRT Mammography certification; ARRT Radiography certification required; BLS certification required.
• 0-1 years related experience preferred; computer systems experience including MS Office.
• Preferred: 1+ year diagnostic mammography experience; PACS experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines in Mammography/Breast Imaging procedures.
• Ensures accurate scheduling and documentation of exams.
• Performs quality control on equipment per regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains certifications and licensing documented with regulators.
