Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking a Staff Mammographer for per diem shifts in the Breast Care Center. The role focuses on performing mammographic exams, ensuring patient privacy, and maintaining high quality imaging standards.

Required: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification and MA license, and Basic Life Support. At least 1 year of radiologic tech experience including mammography is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and mammography exposure required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Licensure by MA DPH Radiation Control Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic examinations following department protocols and ACR standards.
• Educate and assist patients, ensuring privacy and comfort during exams.
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS and related imaging equipment; prepare room for procedures.
• Assist radiologists during mammography-guided procedures; relay radiographic results promptly.
