Mass General Brigham in Waltham is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for Saturday coverage. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, position patients, and ensure image quality. This role requires certification in medical imaging, RT ARR T, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in medical imaging required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist license required by state.
• Registered Technologist (RT ARR T) required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Mammography RT ARR T certification required within 1 year.
• Experience with mammography and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices.
• Position patients and use immobilization as needed.
• Select exposure factors and modes for imaging.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality; obtain additional views as needed.
• Prepare supplies using aseptic technique when appropriate.
• Explain procedures to patients.
