VillageMD is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging department on a per diem basis in New Jersey. The role involves producing quality mammography images, ensuring patient safety, and educating patients about procedures.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT (R), a mammography registry (M), NJ Radiographer license, and at least 2 years of mammography experience, with ability to travel to satellite locations as needed, including adherence to ALARA principles and EMR/PACS usage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration (R) required; advanced mammography registry (M) preferred.
• Active NJ Radiographer license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience.
• Must communicate in English, orally and in writing.
• Experience with EMR, RIS and PACS systems.

Responsabilités

• Produce quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety with proper exposure and shielding.
• Educate patients about procedures and obtain history.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and department protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and perform QA/QC.
