Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Mammography Technologist for per diem coverage in New Jersey. You will perform mammography imaging, ensure patient safety, and explain procedures to patients to support accurate interpretations.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT registration with Mammography (M), NJ Radiographer License, 2+ years of Mammography experience, and current BLS certification. Some travel to satellite locations and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered and Mammography certified.
• NJ Radiographer license in good standing.
• 2+ years of Mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety using proper exposure and ALARA practices.
• Educate patients about procedures and obtain history in PACS/RIS systems.
• Coordinate with Radiologists and document provider orders.
• Follow QA/QC and infection control standards.
