Job summary

VillageMD is hiring a Mammography Technologist to join the Imaging department in New Jersey. The role focuses on producing high-quality mammography images, ensuring patient safety, and educating patients about procedures.

Requirements include ARRT (R) and Advanced Mammography registry, NJ Radiographer License, BLS, and 2+ years of experience. Travel to satellite locations may be required; pay range is $40.38–$50.48/hr with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registration required; Advanced registry in Mammography (M) required.
• NJ State Radiographer License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years’ experience performing Mammography.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety with proper exposure and protective measures.
• Educate patients about procedures.
• Follow department protocols and radiologist instructions.
• Document patient history and demographics in PACS.
• Communicate with Radiologists and verify orders.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform QA/QC as mandated by ACR/MQSA.
