Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Wellness team led by the Health and Wellness Director. The role focuses on holistic resident wellness and supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by care staff.

You will monitor residents, assist with medication administration, and ensure compliance with federal and state standards. A current LPN license, 2+ years in long-term care or similar settings, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a current LPN license.
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance per standards.
