Job summary
Monarch Communities/Brandywine Senior Living seeks a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents under the Health and Wellness Director, with supervision of care staff and emphasis on holistic wellness. This per-diem, non-exempt role covers all shifts and aligns with state and federal standards.
The position requires an LPN license with nursing degree and at least 2 years in long-term care or similar settings; experience with dementia care; and proficiency in computer
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current LPN license.
- At least 2 years’ experience with long‑term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health, safety, and well‑being of all residents
- Assisting in training and monitoring of medication administration
- Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies
- Maintaining clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state and local standards
- Promote the highest degree of service to our residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company
- Conduct thorough resident assessments
