Job summary
Monarch Communities is seeking a per diem LPN Wellness Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents with a holistic focus. You will work under the Health and Wellness Director (RN) and supervise care staff in daily activities, including medication administration and resident assessments.
The role requires an active LPN license and experience in long-term care or similar settings. Per Diem shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am, with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for
Qualifications
- Current LPN license and nursing degree.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in long-term care or similar setting.
- Experience with residents with Alzheimer's or other dementias.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of residents.
- Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration.
- Supervise care staff in accordance with regulations and community policies.
- Maintain clinical quality assurance per standards.
- Promote service quality while reflecting the company's mission.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments.
