TRU Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, with flexible per-visit scheduling and per-visit compensation. You’ll work in the Twin Cities area, delivering care that helps patients stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes according to care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Administer treatments within the scope of practice.
• Perform nursing assessments and interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, treatments, disease management, safety, and other aspects of care.
• Accurately document patient care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering compassionate care.

Your Role as a Per Diem LPN

As an LPN with TRU Healthcare, you'll provide skilled nursing care that helps patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes according to established care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in health status, and communicate concerns to the appropriate members of the care team.
• Administer treatments as ordered and within the scope of practice.
• Perform nursing assessments and provide appropriate interventions based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, treatments, disease management, safety, and other aspects of their care.
• Accurately and promptly document patient care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

What You'll Bring

• CPR/BLS certification.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team.
• Ability to travel throughout the Twin Cities area
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between patient visits. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Compensation & Flexibility

This is a per-diem, per-visit position. Earn $45 per visit and $35/hr for meetings and trainings.
