Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

We offer competitive pay of $37-$39/hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay options and flexible scheduling; local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM.

Requirements: active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and recent PPD; ability to meet physical demands with/without accommodation.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD (Tuberculosis test) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
