Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

We offer competitive pay of $37-$39/hour with same-day or next-day pay, a flexible schedule, and weekly payroll. Local staffing coordinators are on call to support you.

Active LPN license, 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR are required. PPD within the last year and ability to meet physical demands complete the profile.

• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
