Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM. Candidates should hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR.

PPD within the last year is required. This role includes administering medications, wound care, patient education, and coordination

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
