Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, has at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD within the last year is required. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed
