Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA in Hampton Roads is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our per diem team. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

The position offers flexible scheduling, same-day or next-day pay, and local staffing coordinators available. Active LPN license, 1 year of facility-based experience, BLS/CPR, and PPD within the last year are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
