Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This per diem role offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Local staffing coordinators are available from early morning to late evening to support assignments. Eligible candidates have an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
