Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. This position offers flexible scheduling and per diem hours with weekly pay and potential bonuses after shifts completion.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience and current BLS/CPR certification. Local applicants preferred and a supportive staffing team is available to assist 24/7.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
