Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. The role offers per diem hours with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

The position requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is required. Local applicants preferred; per diem shifts may vary by facility need.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• PPD within the last year

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
