Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, local staffing coordinators available 5 AM–11:30 PM, weekly pay, and same-day or next-day pay with RapidPay Card. Per diem positions can also lead to full-time hours.

Salary ranges from $37.00 to $39.00 per hour. Must hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
